Donna LeCourt is an associate professor of English specializing in rhetoric and composition.  Her past research has included feminist digital writing, gender roles in online discussions, and the connections between critical pedagogy and technology.  Her most recent work examines the potential for a cyberpublic within Web 2.0, examining the changing nature of the private and public, the role of the information economy on communicative capital, and how these influences both forestall and open up new possibilities for civic discourse and engagement.
