Professional Organizations and Communities:

The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO): An umbrella organization that coordinates the activities of three digital humanities-related organizations: the Association for Literary and Linguistic Computing (ALLC), the Association for Computers and the Humanities (ACH) and the Society for Digital Humanities/Société pour l'étude des médias interactifs.

The Humanities and Technology Camp (THATCamp): A nationwide "unconference" series that is a great place to get to know digital humanists and to learn about new technologies and projects.

The Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Advanced Collaboratory (HASTAC): An interdisciplinary scholarly network that organizes conferences and other community building events for digital humanists.
